Have you seen this car? It might help solve a killing.

The Durham County Sheriff's Office has released a video it hopes will help solve a homicide that occurred on Nov. 16. The sheriff's office is seeking help from the public about the incident.

Deputies responded to a call at the intersection of Denver Avenue and Old Oxford Highway in Durham around 4:30 a.m.

Investigators found James Lee "Boo" Docher, 35, of 920 Waring Street in Durham. He was inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. Docher was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. An adult female passenger inside the vehicle was uninjured.

Investigators are searching for the driver and passengers of a silver or white sedan, possibly a 2015 or 2016 Nissan Altima that was captured on surveillance video. Detectives believe this vehicle followed Docher to the Food Lion on Meriwether Drive. The vehicle was occupied by three black men who opened fire at Docher's car before driving in reverse toward Wiggins Street.

No arrest has yet been made in connection with the shooting. Investigators are pursuing leads in the case.

Anyone with information that could assist with their investigation is urged to call the Durham County Sheriff's Office at (919) 560-0900 or Durham CrimeStoppers at (919) 683-1200. Durham CrimeStoppers offers a reward for information leading to an arrest in felony cases only.
