Custody dispute puts Durham school briefly on lockdown
A child custody dispute led to a lockdown at Club Boulevard Elementary early Thursday.
A custodial dispute led to a parent communicating a threat at the school, Durham Public Schools spokesperson Chip Sudderth stated in an email.
The school briefly went into lockdown and Durham police responded immediately.
The lockdown was quickly lifted and the school continued with a normal school day, Sudderth stated.
