Durham police asking for information about hotel robbery

Durham police are asking the public for information about a Sept. 18 robbery at Staybridge Suites on Mount Moriah Road.

A man entered the hotel shortly after 4 a.m. and approached the front counter. He demanded money and had what appeared to be a gun under his shirt. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a black male, 6 feet, 1 inch tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark ball cap, a blue shirt and jeans.
