What celebration of National Cheeseburger Day would be complete without a cheeseburger eating contest?
Well, there’s going to be one at a local burger joint on Monday.
Wayback Burgers has a nationwide contest for eating a giant cheeseburger and the location off South Miami Boulevard is participating. Other burger businesses also are getting into the festive spirit with special offers, too.
The dare at Wayback Burgers is to consume a burger they call the “Triple Triple Challenge” as quickly as possible. This monster burger is made up of nine beef patties, nine slices of yellow American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and the bun. The fastest time to consume the burger in the nation wins, according to a news release.
