Have you seen this man? Durham police seeking kidnap suspect
Durham police are asking for information about a kidnapping that happened Monday on North Pointe Drive.
A day after the incident, the victim told police that a man approached him in front of the Kroger grocery store at 1802 North Pointe Drive around 3 p.m. on Monday, July 24. The man implied he had a weapon and forced the victim to drive him to the Exxon gas station at 2500 Erwin Road. The suspect got out of the victim’s car and released the victim without harm.
The suspect is described as a black male, six feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a slim build. He had a small goatee.
The incident was reported to police on Tuesday, July 25.
