“Peter Pan” will be joined by “Wendy” and “Captain Hook” of the beloved J.M. Barrie creation “Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up” for a morning for young learners that includes adventure activities and an anti-bullying workshop to benefit Family Exchange Center Saturday, June 10 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Northgate Mall’s Center Court, 1058 W. Neverland activities will include coloring sheets and easy games for early birds, a Peter Pan-themed crocodile ring toss, walk the plank pirate style game, and photo opportunities with our special guest adventurers.

The event focuses on anti-bullying and ways children can learn to prevent and diffuse intimidation and mistreatment. Exchange Family Center will lead an activity using make-and-take crocodile puppets to help kids learn how to talk to and stand up to bullying behavior.

Donations are encourage and will benefit Family Exchange Center, a Durham-based nonprofit organization working to prevent child abuse and neglect.
