Some trash pickups change for 4th of July week. Schedules for Triangle towns
Many government offices will be closed, and some there are some changes for local trash pick-up ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.
Here is and isn’t changing with local cities and counties:
Raleigh 4th of July garbage schedule
Trash, recycling and yard waste collection will not be affected by the holiday.
Raleigh’s Yard Waste Center is closed on Saturday, July 4, and Sunday. The city’s administrative offices will be closed on Friday.
Durham 4th of July garbage schedule
Garbage, recycling and yard waste collections will operate on a regular schedule.
The Waste Disposal and Recycling Center, Yard Waste Facility and the Household Hazardous Waste Center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, July 3, and closed on Saturday.
Cary 4th of July garbage schedule
Curbside trash collection will not be affected by the holiday.
The Citizen’s Convenience Center will be closed on Friday, July 3, along with most town administrative offices.
Chapel Hill Fourth of July Garbage Collection
There is no change to residential trash pick-up, but commercial trash and yard trimmings collected on Friday, July 3, will be picked up the following week.
Town offices will be closed on Friday.
Apex Fourth of July 4 Garbage Collection
Trash and recycling schedules will remain the same. Yard waste won’t be collected on Friday, July 3, with any remaining yard waste to be picked up the next week.
Town administrative offices will be closed on Friday.
Carrboro July 4 garbage schedule
Trash pickup will not take place on Friday, July 3, and instead will be moved to Monday, July 6.
Administrative offices will be closed on Friday.
Fuquay-Varina Fourth of July garbage schedule
There is no change to trash pick-up.
Town administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, and both community centers and Arts Center will be closed on July 3 and 4.
Garner July 4 garbage schedule
Trash and recycling will remain on schedule, and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, July 6.
Hillsborough 4th of July garbage schedule
Garbage and yard waste pick-up on Friday will be picked up on Monday, July 6.
Administrative offices will be closed on Friday.
Holly Springs Fourth of July garbage schedule
Garbage and recycling will be picked-up on schedule, but Friday yard waste customers will be collected on Thursday, July 2.
Administrative offices are closed on Friday, but the convenience center will be open on Friday.
Knightdale Fourth of July garbage schedule
There is no change for garbage and recycling pick-up. Administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3.
Morrisville July 4 garbage schedule
There is no change for garbage and recycling pick-up. Administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3.
Rolesville Fourth of July garbage schedule
There is no change for trash pick-up in the town. Town offices will be closed on Friday, July 3.
Wake Forest July 4th garbage schedule
Trash and recycling pick-up will remain on schedule but yard waste on Monday, July 6, will be suspended until Tuesday.
Administrative offices will be closed on Monday.
Wendell Fourth of July garbage schedule
There was no change for trash, yard waste and recycling pick-up.
Town offices will be closed on Friday, July 3.
Zebulon July 4 garbage schedule
There is no change for curbside garbage collection. The town will be closed on Friday, July 3.
Wake County 4th of July garbage schedule
The Solid Waste Convenience Centers, South Wake Landfill and Waste Wake Transfer Station are open on Friday, July 3, but closed on Saturday.
The Wake County Public Library and parks will be open on Friday, but the library system will be closed on Saturday.
Durham County 4th of July garbage schedule
There is no change for roadside recycling collection.
The solid waste and recycling convenience sites will be open on Friday, July 3, but closed on Saturday.
Administrative offices, including the Durham County Library, will be closed on Friday and Saturday.
Orange County Fourth of July garbage schedule
The recycling collection will be on its regular schedule on Friday, July 3, and no collection on Saturday.
The waste and recycling centers and the landfill will be open Friday but closed on Saturday. The administrative offices will be closed on Friday.
