A piece of “unmatched modern luxury” for sale in North Carolina is catching a lot of attention online.
Featured among some of the country’s quirkiest and most interesting homes on Zillow Gone Wild’s Instagram page is an all-white, open space home with floor-to-ceiling windows in Chapel Hill.
The newly built home, known as “The Lightwell House” is nestled on 1.67 acres in the heart of Orange County at 6358 Pathway Ct. with four bedrooms and three bathrooms — designed to be as stunning as it is practical, according to its Landhuis Residential listing.

Beyond the sleek and sophisticated walls of the 2,509 square foot home, its community perks include nearby neighborhood trails, a community pond and garden.
According to February 2025 housing market data from Zillow, the median listing price in the area where the Lightwell House is located (zip code 27516) was about $590,067.
In comparison, the modern Chapel Hill home is listed for $1,650,000 — which was cut down $50,000 Friday, March 7.
