New to the Triangle? Our free newsletter has everything you need to know

The Triangle region is expected to grow by 104 people each day this decade, according to state projections. So if you’re not new here, chances are you know someone who is.

With that in mind, we wanted to figure out a way to not only welcome our new neighbors, but equip them with the knowledge they need to make the most of life in the Triangle.

We’ve put together a special email newsletter for newcomers — something to help explain our obsession with copperheads and barbecue, how every spring we all seem freshly shocked by the amount of pollen we always get, and why they might hear a native tell them to put a toboggan on their head when it’s cold.

We get into other topics, too: finding the best restaurants and bars, navigating traffic and our sometimes confusing roadways, surviving hurricanes and other crazy weather, enjoying some downtime in local parks and greenways, taking advantage of our proximity to the mountains and beaches, and much more.

The email newsletter is free, and we hope you’ll sign up for it now, whether you’re new to the area or just want to learn more about the place you’ve been calling home for awhile now.

And if you know a newcomer, send them this article or the link to sign up.

Enter your email address below to start receiving our Expert Guide to the Triangle directly in your inbox.
