Tesla Cybertruck 24-Inch Retro Disc Wheels Cost As Much As A Used Mustang

From Expedition Rigs to Street Style

For Tesla owners who love to tinker, Unplugged Performance is their go-to place for aftermarket needs. The California crew has done it all, from slammed suspensions and wild aero kits to full-blown Tesla Cybertruck makeovers that barely resemble the original truck.

Case in point: the UP Invincible Expedition Package, which piles on over $18,000 in off-road armor, suspension, lights, and enough gear to survive the end of the world. Clearly, Cybertruck owners aren't shy about dropping serious cash to make their already bizarre trucks stand out even more.

But now, Unplugged Performance is doing the opposite. Forget rock-crawling – this time, they're targeting Cybertruck owners who prefer flexing on city streets instead of conquering mountain passes.

A Disc Wheel Built Just for the Cybertruck

Meet the UP Forged CYBRDISC: a 24-inch forged monoblock wheel built just for the Cybertruck. Instead of the usual multi-spoke look, this thing rocks a full-face disc straight out of the 1970s, with concentric circles that channel vintage vinyl records before melting into a slick, polished edge.

Each wheel is a massive 24x9.5 inches, carved from 6061-T6 forged aluminum. Don't let the flashy looks fool you – Unplugged Performance claims these discs can handle 1,450 kg each, so they're ready for all the Cybertruck's bulk and instant torque.

Depending on your vibe, you can go for 295/45R24 tires if you want to keep things efficient, or slap on some chunky 315/45R24 rubber for a meaner, more aggressive stance.

You get three finishes to choose from: Gloss Black with machined accents, Satin Black with a stealthy edge, or a blinding Full Polished look that makes the disc face pop even harder.

Unplugged Performance says these giant wheels keep most of the Cybertruck's original ride comfort, but dial up the street presence to eleven.

A Wheel Set That Costs Mustang Money

Aftermarket wheels are never cheap, but the CYBRDISC launches straight into a whole new tax bracket. A full set will set you back $7,195 – and that's before you even think about tires or installation. That's a hefty chunk of change for a visual upgrade, even by high-roller EV standards.

For context, you could snag a running, early-2010s Ford Mustang for the same price. The used cars marketplace is full of old Mustangs in this price range, so it's hard not to notice the comparison.

Whether that's outrageous or totally justified probably depends on how you see the Cybertruck. But if you're building a luxury street monster, Unplugged Performance is betting there are plenty of folks ready to drop used sports car money just for a set of wheels.
