From the team behind Luna Rotisserie, Rubies on Five Points and Remy’s Lounge comes Hops & Flower.

The new, recently opened business combines a coffee shop, taproom, deli, market and hemp dispensary in a former Moe’s Original BBQ.

“We wanted to create a space where the community can grab breakfast, settle in to work remotely over coffee, meet friends for lunch and drinks, shop for quality local products, and access wellness and hemp offerings — all without having to visit multiple locations,” owner Shawn Stokes said in a news release.

A local indoor pickleball concept is expanding in the Triangle.

Pickles and Play will open in the next few months in the Brier Creek area, joining locations in Wake Forest, Johnston County and Chapel Hill.

The 24,000-square-foot venue will include eight pickleball courts, seating areas and, owners hope, a bar.

“We feel like Brier Creek is a very central location in the Triangle for residents,” said Lane Etheridge, a founder and majority owner of Pickles and Play. “And a lot of people who commute and work down there will also find it convenient for their ability to access the facility.”

Location: 10601 World Trade Blvd.

Reformation opens at North Hills

Another clothing store has joined Raleigh’s North Hills development.

Reformation, a women’s boutique offering dresses, shoes, denim, outerwear, bags and more, is open in the Main District next to J.Crew.

The store incorporates technology meant to enhance the shopping experience. One piece of each item is displayed in the main store, and customers can use touchscreens and QR codes to build a dressing room. While trying on clothes, shoppers are able to request different items or sizes inside the fitting room.

Raleigh’s Reformation is the brand’s second to open in North Carolina.

Location: 4361 Lassiter at North Hills Ave.
