A new Publix grocery store opens soon in the Triangle.
The location at 821 S. Main St. in Rolesville is one of several new Raleigh-area locations the grocer is planning to open soon.
Customers can shop the new store starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 21. The 46,791-square-foot store will employ about 140 associates.
“We are thrilled to continue our growth across the Triangle area,” Jared Glover, a Publix media relations manager, said in an email. “We look forward to delivering Publix’s legendary service and quality food as well as being active members in this great community.”
There are a couple of other grocery stores within a few miles of the new Rolesville Publix, including a Food Lion at 405 S. Main St.

- 4628 Guess Road in Durham County
Publix has 10 stores open in the Triangle.
