National Bomb Pop Day Is Here-These 10 Viral Products Take the Iconic Popsicle to the Next Level
Happy National Bomb Pop Day! Since 1955, Bomb Pops (also known as Firecrackers) have been a staple of Fourth of July celebrations, thanks to their cherry, lemon-lime and blue raspberry layers. But this summer, America's favorite patriotic popsicle has escaped the freezer aisle.
As the country gears up to celebrate its 250th birthday, brands are embracing Bomb Pop nostalgia in a big way-launching limited-edition donuts, sparkling water, energy shots, vitamins, hard beverages and even a few products nobody saw coming.
I rounded up the 10 wildest Bomb Pop-inspired products you can buy right now, in honor of today (June 25) being National Bomb Pop Day.
10 Viral Bomb Pop-Inspired Products
10. OREO Firecracker Pop Sandwich Cookies
When I first spotted these at the supermarket, my immediate thought was hmm. But that "nay" turned into a "yay" once I picked up a box and discovered that the red, white and blue filling was sandwiched between two vanilla cookies-not the classic chocolate ones.
Naturally, I placed it in my shopping cart and ate one on my drive home (for journalism purposes). The golden cookies perfectly complement the blue raspberry, lemon and cherry-flavored creme filling. These will make a nice addition to your 4th of July dessert spread-or if you're really going for it, this OREO ice cream cupcake recipe.

9. Sonic Red, White and Blue Slush Float
At first glance, you might assume this limited-time item is just like Sonic's other famous Slushes. But it is America's 250th birthday, so the eatery seriously stepped it up with this treat. The first layer is blue raspberry slush, followed by creamy vanilla soft serve. Up top? Real fruit strawberries.
The best part: You can get it for just $2.50. That's because from Monday, June 29 through Sunday, July 12, Sonic is celebrating with its America $2.50 Menu. In addition to the Red, White and Blue Slush Float, the All-American 6" Hot Dog, Medium Onion Rings and Jr Double Cheeseburger are all just $2.50 each.
8. Dunkin' Rocket Pop Donut
This summer, Dunkin' has taken their classic Vanilla Frosted Donut to the next level-and it's not just thanks to the blue frosting and stars & stripes sprinkles on top. The limited-time Rocket Pop Donut makes this list because it's got a butter creme filling that's a combination of cherry, lime and raspberry flavors.
7. 5-hour ENERGY Firework Freeze
In May 2026, 5-hour ENERGY® launched its new Firework Freeze flavor, which packs the classic Bomb Pop into a single 1.93 fl oz shot. Each sugar-free bottle has 230 mg of caffeine-about the same as a 12-ounce cup of coffee. I've started keeping one in my purse for those busy days when I need an energy boost without the sugar crash (and I've skipped the $9 latte receipt).
Firework Freeze is available now at the 5-hour ENERGY website and on Amazon. Grab a pack before they're gone-just like summer, this flavor is only here for a limited time.
6. Bubly Melted Ice Pop Sparkling Water
Bubly's "melted ice pop" flavor brings back memories of sticky popsicle hands with no relief, but for bubly, that's exactly the point. They designed it to taste like the exact moment your Bomb Pop starts dripping down your fingers in the summer heat.
Last summer, this flavor was sold exclusively at Target, but it became so popular that it's now available everywhere bubly is sold.
5. Liquid I.V. Popsicle Firecracker
I keep packets of these in my purse and beach bag. Just pour one single-serve stick into 16 oz of water - it's got 50 calories and around 60% less sugar than an average sports drink. I tried replenishing my supply at Costco last week and they were sold out, so grab them while you can.

4. TwistedTea Rocket Pop Hard Iced Tea (21+)
250 years ago, a different kind of tea party kicked off America's road to independence. This summer, Twisted Tea is throwing its own version-but instead of the Boston Harbor, you can dump it right into your cooler! Twisted Tea introduced its Rocket Pop flavor as a limited-time drop back in May 2023, but this summer, it's back by popular demand as part of the brand's new Americana-themed Summer Party Pack.
The 12-pack is available nationwide and also includes Twisted Tea Original, Half & Half and the brand new Hard Lemonade flavor.
3. Popsicle Hard Firecracker (21+)
Seeing the Popsicle logo on a can-and in the beer aisle-made me do a major double take, but here we are! The very same brand that makes the iconic Firecracker (and so many other nostalgic frozen treats) dropped its first-ever line of hard beverages and it's now available nationwide.

2. Grüns Firecracker Popsicle Superfoods Green Gummies
The gummy vitamin brand grüns is not even three years old-but just like its new limited-edition flavor, it's a firecracker. They just partnered with Popsicle to create Firecracker, which surprisingly tastes more like the iconic cherry, lime and blue raspberry pop than the nutritious greens it provides.
1. 'Poopsicle' Dude Wipes
For a limited time, you can get these disposable, flushable wet wipes in Poopsicle scent. Naturally, they smell just like the red, white and blue popsicle they're inspired by. You'll spot the patriotic design on its packaging, and a 3-pack (each one has 48 wipes) costs $12.98 at Walmart.
