We asked for your favorite Italian restaurants in the Triangle, and you flooded us with recommendations.
On Monday, April 6, The News & Observer invited readers to share the Raleigh-area restaurants that serve the best pasta, tiramisu and other dishes. We reviewed your nominations and also asked our staff’s food experts to share input.
We ended up with a list of 66 fan-favorite places to eat Italian food. Below, you can vote for the local restaurant you love the most.
Feel free to refresh this page and vote more than once. Here’s what to know about the future rounds of the contest:
The first round will determine the Top 30. It will be live until 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 15.
The second round will determine the Top 15. It will be live from about 11 a.m. April 15 until 10 a.m. Friday, April 17.
The third round will determine the Top 5. It will be live from about 11 a.m. April 17 until 10 a.m. Monday, April 20.
The fourth round will determine the Top 2. It will be live from about 11 a.m. April 20 until 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 22.
The fifth round will determine the winner. It will be live from about 11 a.m. April 22 until 10 a.m. Friday, April 24.
This is meant to be a fun contest and not a scientific poll. Nominees were eligible to go up for a vote if they had fewer than 20 locations across the country and were located in or near Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill.
