A well-known Raleigh mall is getting a new restaurant in 2026.

Five Guys is joining the food court at Crabtree, a location that will mark the chain’s fourth restaurant in Raleigh.

Serving burgers, fries, hot dogs, sandwiches and shakes, the restaurant is expected to open in March.

The chain also has locations at Raleigh’s North Hills and at Brennan Station shopping center, plus one off Capital Boulevard near Triangle Town Center. It formerly had a location at Raleigh-Durham International Airport but was replaced by BurgerFi.

There are 48 Five Guys restaurants in North Carolina, according to the chain’s website.

Five Guys was established in Arlington, Virginia, in 1986.

Five Guys also serves sandwiches such as BLTs, veggie sandwiches and grilled cheeses, which cost $5-$9. There are two options for fries — regular and tossed with Cajun spices — starting at $5 an order.

For dessert, Five Guys makes vanilla milkshakes with optional mix-ins such as chocolate, fruits and Oreo cookies ($5).

At the Crabtree food court, Five Guys joins vendors including Moe’s Southwest Grill, Chick-fil-A, Thai Bistro and Luciano’s.

Crabtree has not announced which restaurants will replace Brio Italian Grille or Uncle Julio’s, which both closed at the mall.

The mall still has several other full-service dining options including The Cheesecake Factory, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, La Rancherita, P.F. Chang’s and Seasons 52.
