Fast + Easy Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry Recipe Is A 5-Ingredient Supper Sensation

So, I’m always looking for delicious dishes that are quick to toss together yet still deliver big on flavor. Take this Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry recipe. It’s ready to eat in just 20 minutes. Plus, with only 5 ingredients prep and clean-up are a snap.
These days, most grocery stores carry prepared stir-fry vegetables in the produce aisle. We cook them in a steamer basket, but if you don’t have one, you can microwave veggies with a splash of water in a microwave-safe bowl with a lid. For an extra pop of yumminess, we sauté juicy sirloin in sesame oil-this adds a delicious nutty note that pairs perfectly with teriyaki sauce and garlic. Ingredients
- 4 c. Fresh stir-fry vegetables
- 1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp. Toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 c. low-sodium teriyaki sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Fit steamer basket or metal colander into large pot; fill bottom of pot with water, making sure it doesn't touch bottom of basket. Over medium-low heat, bring water to simmer. Add vegetables to basket; steam until crisp-tender, turning occasionally, about 5 min. Remove; reserve.
Sprinkle beef with 1⁄4 tsp. salt and 1⁄4 tsp. pepper. In skillet, heat sesame oil over high heat. In batches, cook beef, stirring, until browned, 1–2 min. Return all beef to skillet; add vegetables, teriyaki sauce and garlic. Cook, stirring, until heated through and liquid is thickened, 2 min. If desired, garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
