NC’s first Del Taco will open in the Triangle this month. Here’s where
The very first Del Taco location will open in North Carolina this month.
The California taco giant will mark its foray into the state with a new restaurant in Durham.
The first NC Del Taco will be at 4716 Apex Hwy in Durham, near the Research Triangle Park and Interstate 40.
Del Taco’s North Carolina franchisee is RAM Restaurants, which has a deal for five locations. The group first announced its deal in 2021.
It looks like Sanford will be Del Taco’s next stop, with plans for a restaurant slated for 3116 South Horner Blvd.
While brand new for North Carolina, Del Taco is one of the country’s largest fast food chains, with locations primarily on the west coast. There are currently nearly 600 Del Tacos in the United States.
The Durham Del Taco will be 2,300 square feet with a double drive-thru. The Sanford location is expected to be around 2,000 square feet.
