Some pets enjoy a little roughhousing, but this Pug named Kenny Lenny Rogers may have accidentally taken things a little too far when he challenged the family's orange cat, Charley Crocket, to a wrestling match. At first, it seems like Kenny is trying to show Charley who's boss, not realizing the cat is fully prepared to commit to the competition.

What follows is a hilarious showdown that has us all betting that the Pug immediately regretted his decision. And Charley pulls out some wrestling moves we've never seen before… they're seriously impressive.

Of course, we had to check whether this was a one-time thing or if these two go at it often, and we found other videos showing that this is a regular occurrence at their house... why are we not surprised?!

Funny Reactions to the Pug and Orange Cat's Wrestling Match

Charlie and Kenny's wrestling match racked up more than 3.4 million views and over 3,000 comments, and some of them cracked us up. @loserlemonlime got more than 32,000 likes when they shared a picture of a ninja and said, "How the cat was feeling..."

@Jamos1995 shared a screenshot of the cat in mid-air and got 35,000 likes when he yelled, "PARKOUR!!!!"

"The flips were NOT necessary," joked @armanii, and @mexican_laundry got 45,000 likes when they added, "Just a flippin' and a floppin'..."

According to Interesting Engineering, most of the time when cats wrestle with other pets, they're actually playing. Cats will usually avoid interaction altogether if they're genuinely upset or feeling threatened.

During roughhousing, cats often use bunny kicks, quick paw swats, twisting movements, and sudden bursts of speed to stay in control of the situation, which is exactly the kind of moves Charley was unleashing on poor Kenny.

Experts say it's important to watch for signs that play may be turning into a real fight. Behaviors like crouching, arching the back, aggressive chasing, or loud vocalizing can indicate tension rather than fun. As Interesting Engineering explains, "Vocalization is an especially important clue here to an aggressive rather than playful interaction."
