Sandra Bullock Shares Emotional Throwback Photos of Her Late Dad and Kids
Sandra Bullock shared rare throwback photos of her two kids cuddling up to her late father.
To celebrate Father's Day, the Oscar-winning actress shared two photos on Instagram of her late father, John Wilson Bullock, holding her two children, Louis and Laila.
"He loved me through my goth period… Loved on the loves of my life… And loved our country at 18," Sandra wrote of her dad. John sadly passed away aged 93 in September 2018.
"Happy Heavenly Father's Day, Dad. ❤️," she added.
She also posted the moving family moments on her Instagram Stories with the caption, "Loved on the loves of my life."
Along with throwback photos of John with Louis and Laila as babies, the Miss Congeniality actress shared an old image of herself embracing her father and another of her dad in full Army uniform.
On Mother's Day, Sandra paid tribute to her late mother and all moms around the world."To all the mamas, No matter how you came to be, Happy Mother's Day," she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her and her mother as well as her and her little ones. "We are all bound by this honor of a lifetime."
"Mom and Omi, thank you for teaching me," she added in the caption. "We miss you ❤️Sorry I was such a brat."
Sandra has two adoptive children, Louis, whom she adopted in January 2020 when he was just 3 years old, and Laila "Lily", whom she adopted in December 2015, aged 2, from Louisiana.
"I don't know why that was the only route, but I'm so glad the universe had me wait, " she said on Red Table Talk in December 2021. "Had me wait even though I was anxious and I was eager - and it went nope, you're not going to do it the way you think you're going to do it."
