Trader Joe's Viral Beauty Product Is Back and Getting Glowing Reviews - Literally

A fan-favorite Trader Joe's item is back in the rotation, and fans are happy to have it for the summer season.

TJ's Shimmer Oil Sunscreen has returned to shelves after nearly a year away. Originally part of the Glow Anywhere Suncare Set the store released last June, the grocery chain opted to release the sunscreen solo this year, and in a bigger size.

"This Shimmer Oil Sunscreen's formulation offers broad-spectrum sun protection (SPF 30, to be precise) and contains mica, which lends a subtle, bronze shimmer to skin," the product's description reads on the website. "Its nostalgic, warm coconut scent delivers the ultimate vacation vibes."

They also shared the item will be available for a limited time only: "You'll find Shimmer Oil Sunscreen near the other bath & body products at your neighborhood Trader Joe's, only from May through August."

And shoppers online are sharing their excitement on the Trader Joe's Reddit, giving the sun protectant rave reviews in the process.

"I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! best news," one fan wrote, while others stated they were adding the product to their shopping lists..

Another said, "Yessss my mini is almost gone. It's ✨shimmer✨ summerrr"

"OH MY GOD my prayers have been answered," claimed a third.

The sunscreen is just $9.99 for 4 oz, with fans previously comparing it to a similar product from the higher-end brand Kopari. Their line of Body Glow Sunscreens retails for around $42 and comes in multiple shades and a range of SPF options.

TJ's has been killing it with the beauty drops as of late. Last month, the store dropped their Dewy Skin Serum ($9.99), which has gotten positive feedback, as well as their Bonding Shampoo and Conditioner ($7.99 each). Fans have compared the products to luxury brands like Glow Recipe and Keratisse, respectively.
