Music icon Barry Manilow is headed to North Carolina.

The award-winning singer-songwriter announced new farewell shows in nine cities across the U.S., including one in Greensboro.

“These performances are more than just concerts…they are a culmination of the decades of MANILOW memories and moments that Barry has shared with us throughout the years,” Manilow shared in an Instagram post.

The 82-year-old’s farewell tour originally kicked off a decade ago, according to The New York Post.

He’ll be hitting the stage for his Southeast shows in January — with the “The Last Greensboro Show” among the final at First Horizon Coliseum on Thursday, Jan. 15.

“With his signature showmanship and timeless catalog, each performance will be a once-in-a-lifetime celebration with one of music’s most legendary performers,” according to a release of the tour, which will include his greatest hits like “Mandy,” “I Write the Songs,” “Looks Like We Made It” and more.

In the last decade, Manilow has supported multiple North Carolina high schools and music teachers and performed at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center less than two years ago.

Of the nine upcoming Southeast shows, Greensboro is the only one in North Carolina.
