When Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington died in 2017, the nu-metal band went on hiatus, with many fans doubting the future of the group.

Critics raged when the group tapped Emily Armstrong as Bennington’s replacement last year.

Doubt no more.

Linkin Park brought their “From Zero World Tour” to Raleigh’s Lenovo Center Tuesday night.

Armstrong used her voice and dynamic stage presence, including her growling, brain-piercing screams, not to replace Bennington, but to incorporate herself into the band’s driving force as a whole.

It works, she works. LInkin Park still works. Doubt no more.
