Thousands of music fans from around the country are at Raleigh’s Dorothea Dix Park this weekend for J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival.

The festival, the fourth since 2019, features a lengthy roster of rap, hip-hop and R&B artists.

SZA and 50 Cent are the headline acts Saturday while Nicki Minaj and Cole himself will headline Sunday’s shows. Other performers include J.I.D., Lil Yachty, Sexyy Red, Lute, Schoolboy Q and Jeremih.

Cole, who was raised in Fayetteville, created the festival in 2019 as a way to give back to North Carolina. Besides music, the event serves as a celebration of art and people, and it generates millions for the local economy.
