Tickets are available for 2024 Dreamville Fest in Raleigh. What you need to know.
Pre-sale tickets for one of the biggest hip-hop and R&B music festivals on the East Coast are now available for purchase.
The Dreamville Festival, spearheaded by Fayetteville rapper J. Cole, will take over Dorothea Dix Park near downtown Raleigh the weekend of April 6-7, 2024.
The festival announced it is releasing the first batch of two-day passes in November.
There are five different ticket choices fans can select online including general admission, general admission plus, JV VIP, Varsity VIP, and MVP VIP ranging in price, access and amenities.
Tickets sold out early last year.
Details about the festival’s lineup and events have yet to be announced however, rapper Nicki Minaj listed Dreamville on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The rapper will also be coming to Charlotte in March and headlining the Rolling Loud music festival in California. She released her album Pink Friday 2 on Dec. 8 which includes a song featuring Cole.
Dreamville draws thousands to Raleigh
This year, the April 1-2 music festival hosted its largest crowd to date with 100,000 attendees from all 50 states and 23 countries, organizers reported.
Cole was joined by Canadian rapper Drake as co-headliners this year to close out the event on Sunday. There were some unannounced guest performances during the final set from Lil Wayne, 21 Savage and Lil Uzi Vert.
On the first day of the festival this year, Usher closed out the night, giving an energetic, career-spanning set with a first-ever live performance of his single “Good Love” featuring rap duo City Girls, who also performed at the festival. Dreamville Records singer Ari Lennox performed some of her evergreen hits that night.
In addition to the big names, there were performances by Afro-beat pop singer Burna Boy, R&B singer Summer Walker, who brought out fellow Atlanta artist 6lack, and Waka Flocka Flame, who took fans down memory lane with his mid-2010s hits.
