Photos: Hozier takes Raleigh crowd ‘to church’ with sold-out concert

Hozier mesmerized a sellout crowd at Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater Thursday night with his own special brand of Irish folk music.

Hozier, whose name is Andrew John Hozier-Byrne, is known for his 2013 debut single, “Take Me To Church,” which became an instant smash. He continued to score hits when the award-winning singer’s sophomore album, “Wasteland, Baby!,” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 charge in 2019.

Hozier is touring in support of his most recent album, “Unreal Unearth,” which was released Aug. 18.
