Country music star Jake Owen brings his ‘Loose Cannon’ to Raleigh

Singing about honkeytonks, beaches, hot trucks and cold beer, Jake Owen brought his high-energy concert tour to Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater, Thursday night.

Owen has become part of an online feud between Jason Alden and Jason Isbell, calling out Isbell for tweets criticizing Aldean and his song “Try That In A Small Town.” The song has become a source of controversy due complaints about pro-gun lyrics.
