What to Watch on Friday: 20/20’s ‘Yosemite Killer’ doc and the last episodes of ‘Kimmy Schmidt’
20/20: Yosemite Serial Killer (9 p.m., ABC) - 20/20 has a two-hour true crime documentary on The Yosemite Serial Killer, Cary Stayner, who terrorized Yosemite National Park in California in 1999, murdering four women there within a six month period. The documentary looks at Stayner’s past and at the crimes he committed, and features interviews with former FBI agents Jeff Rinek and John Boles, who took Stayner’s confession. The special also has interviews with an intended victim described by Stayner in his confession, and with Stayner’s former friends, reporters and detectives.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix) - The last six episodes of the fourth and final season of “Kimmy Schmidt” land on Netflix today. The series follows Kimmy Schmidt’s life in New York City after being rescued from a kidnapper (Jon Hamm) who kept her and other women hidden underground for 15 years. It stars Ellie Kemper as Kimmy, Tituss Burgess as Kimmy’s roommate Titus Andromedon, Jane Krakowski as her employer-turned-friend, and Carol Kane as her landlord.
