A 27-year-old Durham man died after his minivan ran off the road, overturned and caught on fire, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

A 27-year-old Durham man died after the minivan he was driving ran off the road, overturned and caught on fire in Wake County, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

Wake County state troopers were dispatched at 5:21 a.m. Sunday to the wreck on Aviation Boulevard near the intersection of Gateway Center Boulevard.

Andres Yosimar Gamboa Vivas was driving a Silver 2006 Toyota Sienna south on Aviation Parkway when the minivan ran off the road and struck a curb. The minivan then struck a pole, overturning and catching on fire, according information provided by the Highway Patrol.
