The Savannah Bananas are playing this week at Durham Bulls park. Date & ticket info
The Savannah Bananas are coming to the Triangle.
They are set to play Friday and Saturday (July 14-15) this week at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Unfortunately, both games are sold out.
To get a ticket to see them on the road, fans must join the Savannah Bananas waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not secure a ticket, so the earlier you sign up, the better your chances.
Why are the Savannah Bananas so popular?
The Savannah Bananas are most commonly known as “Tik Tok’s favorite baseball team,” according to CNN.
They make every baseball field a dance floor with their eye-catching choreographed dances during games. They play music by all kinds of artists, including Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and Michael Jackson.
The Savannah Banana players aren’t the only ones in on the fun. They have the world’s only dancing umpire, Vincent Chapman. Cheering them on from the sidelines is their Dad Bod Cheerleading Squad, the Man-nanas, and the senior citizen dance team, Banana Nanas.
Before every game, be prepared to honor the Banana Baby with all the players gathering around a baby dressed as a banana playing “The Circle of Life” from “The Lion King.”
After every game, you can listen to out-of-box post-game interviews, hosted from the shower, from players’ beds, or even from an ice bath.
How can I get a ticket to see the Savannah Bananas?
Tickets become available two months before each game. When buying tickets off the website, they are $25.
Since they are sold out, you can add yourself to the waitlist to get notified with any last minute changes. You can also try to find tickets on other websites, including:
Stubhub is selling tickets starting at $165.
Viagogo has tickets available starting at $158.
VividSeats has tickets available starting at $176.
