The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man who was killed Sunday in his Durham home as 29-year-old Brandon Lee.
Lee, of 3601 Brockwell Road in Durham, was fatally shot during a domestic dispute, deputies reported Monday. The home is in a part of Durham that is inside the Orange County line.
Deputies responded to Lee’s home around 8:05 a.m. Sunday after Kellie Younts, 25, called 911 to report the shooting, according to a news release. Emergency personnel at the scene confirmed Lee died from his injuries, deputies said.
Deputy Chief Jamison Sykes described Lee and Younts as boyfriend and girlfriend.
