Two people were shot in South Roxboro Street gas station parking lot Sunday afternoon.
The victims’ injuries are not believed to be life threatening according to a Durham Police Department watch commander.
The DPD officer said Sunday that authorities received a call reporting a shooting at the gas station and convenient mart located at 2519 S. Roxboro St. shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday.
When police reached the gas station, they found bullet shell casings and a car with bullet holes, but there were no gunshot victims in sight. However, within minutes, police were informed two gunshot victims had checked themselves into Duke University Hospital.
