Durham A construction crew recently returned to their work site in eastern Durham and found a key and an expensive piece of machinery missing — a crane.

The 2007 Sterling construction crane truck, worth about $100,000, was last seen in the 1100 block of Rosedale Creek Drive near Andrews Chapel Road around 6 p.m. Monday, according to police.

“When workers returned to the site the next morning, the crane was gone,” a Durham police news release stated.

The license plate is North Carolina YA142884.
