Police are trying to find out who shot a 17-year-old man Thursday on Summer Breeze Drive, according to a spokeswoman.
The man was found at 9:49 p.m. with a gunshot to the leg near the entrance to Magnolia Pointe Apartment Homes, police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said. He was admitted to Duke Hospital with a serious but not life-threatening wound.
Michael said earlier reports that the man was found on Danube Lane were incorrect. The shooting actually happened around the corner on Summer Breeze Drive, she said.
No charges have been filed, and the case remains under investigation.
