A 22-year-old man was fatally shot after an argument early Tuesday in southern Wake County. Sheriff’s deputies responded at about 1:30 a.m. to a house on the 7400 block of Cy Lane and found Colton Rogers had died, according to a press release.

A 22-year-old man was fatally shot after an argument early Tuesday in southern Wake County, authorities said.

Wake County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded at about 1:30 a.m. to a house on the 7400 block of Cy Lane and found Colton Rogers had died, according to a press release.

William Collen Allen, 19, was charged with murder and will be taken to jail, according to the release.

The investigation is ongoing, the sheriff’s office said.
