Police launch death investigation after body found in south Durham

Durham

Police launched a death investigation Sunday after they found a dead body around 10:30 a.m., police said.

The body was found near the intersection of N.C. 54 and N.C. 55, a Durham police watch commander said.

WRAL reported that the body was found near railroad tracks near a shopping center with a Big Lots and an AutoZone.
