Patrick Street, an Irish music supergroup featuring fiddler Kevin Burke from The Bothy Band, Andy Irvine, singer and bouzouki player with Planxty, guitarist Ged Foley and fiddle/banjo player John Carty, will play the ArtsCenter at 7 p.m.

Gilberto Gil will perform at Memorial Hall, 208 E. Cameron Ave., Chapel Hill, at 7:30 p.m.
Gil's career has spanned four decades and more than 30 albums. He introduced the late 1960s tropicalia movement. A singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he fused bossa nova, samba and salsa with rock and folk music, becoming a world music pioneer. Susan Wolf, the 2009-2010 Romanell-Phi Beta Kappa Professor, will give a series of three lectures in March that explore a range of questions about love and its role in our lives. The first lecture explores the questions, "What is love?" and "Why is it especially important?"
Wolf is a distinguished professor of philosophy at UNC.
The lecture will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. in Hyde Hall on the UNC Campus.
