UNC Baseball -- Three game series vs. Michigan, starting at 3 p.m.; 2 p.m. Saturday, at Bryson Field at Boshamer Baseball Stadium, off Ridge Road in Chapel Hill.

'Through Women's Eyes, by Women's Hands' -- This is an art exhibition & sale, from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Women's Center, 210 Henderson St., Chapel Hill.

A cocktail reception featuring a variety of signature small dishes from local female chefs will be available. This event features the work of local female artists. Love and Robots: A Puppet Rock Opera -- Love and Robots weaves an epic tale of love, sacrifice, triumph and redemption with Robots. This 2nd annual winter show from Paperhand Puppet Intervention features plenty of new puppets set to an original musical score by Jimmy Magoo and the PaperHand Band.

Shows will be at The ArtsCenter, 300-G E. Main St., Carrboro, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday.

Daily plant sales -- The N.C. Botanical Garden's 2010 daily plant sale opens for the season at 100 Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. Sunday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, year-round.

The garden features the hardiest spring plants with a selection of native perennials, ferns, and woody plants continuing to expand as the weather warms. Plant sale is open during regular visiting hours.

Guided Walking Tour of the Old Chapel Hill Cemetery -- Participants taking the guided tour are asked to meet at the cemetery's gazebo on South Road at 10 a.m. on Saturdays. The historic cemetery is located at the corner of Country Club and South roads on the edge of the UNC campus. The first recorded burial was in 1798.
