DURHAM -- Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski didn't comment Friday on reports that the New Jersey Nets would be interested in making Krzyzewski their next head coach.

Krzyzewski already had his say on such matters in 2009.

"I will never leave Duke, until I leave coaching," Krzyzewski said this past summer, in response to a second rumor that the Los Angeles Lakers might come calling. "Anything else that is being said would just be somebody saying stuff."

Duke junior Nolan Smith said Friday that Krzyzewski hadn't addressed the reports with the team.

"If there really was something, he would say something to us," Smith said. "His focus is on Duke basketball, from here until he's done here.

"It's probably just a rumor. We're not thinking about that at all."
