CHAPEL HILL -- The community is invited to hear a draft report on Chapel Hill's office market beginning at 10 a.m. Friday in the second-floor Training Room of Town Hall. The Council Committee on Economic Development will meet to hear the draft report and to discuss the findings with Consultant Ernie Bleinberger of Strategy 5.
One of the many goals of this office market study is to look at local/regional absorption of office space and develop tasks to increase Chapel Hill's absorption rate. The study will help the town understand what is needed to grow the office market and the number of local jobs in Chapel Hill.
To attend the event, RSVP to economicdevelopment@townofchapelhill.org with "Draft Office Market Study" in the subject line. Seating is limited. For additional information, contact Dwight Bassett, Town of Chapel Hill economic development officer, at (919) 968-2743.
