DURHAM -- The Duke and North Carolina women's basketball teams were on the same court Monday night, but the teams were playing entirely different games.

The No. 8 Blue Devils put on a dominating display of offense and rebounding on their way to a 79-51 victory over No. 18 North Carolina 79-51 at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Bridgette Mitchell and Keturah Jackson each scored 12 points and led six Blue Devils in double figures.

Duke controlled the early play, jumping out to a 10-0 lead in the first two-and-a-half minutes.

The Tar Heels never recovered. UNC, which now has lost three in a row, committed 25 turnovers and was out-rebounded by a 52-28 margin.

Duke returns to action Thursday against N.C. State at Cameron, while UNC hosts Boston College the same night.
