Elections board hosts open house

HILLSBOROUGH -- The Orange County Board of Elections will host an open house at its new office at 208 South Cameron St. in Hillsborough from 2 to 5 p.m. today.

The open house will provide the public an opportunity to visit with the Elections Board and staff previously on East King Street.

GOP state director to speak Monday

HILLSBOROUGH -- The Orange County Republican Party Executive Committee will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Agricultural Building (Old Carr Building) on Revere Road in Hillsborough.

Russell Peck, executive director of the N.C. Republican Party, will speak and entertain questions regarding Republican activity in North Carolina.

Park on the right side of the building and go in the side door and to the end of the hall. The meeting room is on the right.

Reagan-Lincoln dinner is Feb. 19

CHAPEL HILL -- The Orange County Republican Party will host a Reagan-Lincoln Day Dinner Feb. 19 at the Sunrise Church in Chapel Hill, 1315 New Hope Trace, Exit 263 I-40.
