CARRBORO -- Visitors have long known that Carrboro had something special in housing the Jesse Kalisher Gallery. Now Target shoppers across the country will get to experience a bit of Kalisher, too.

Kalisher's photography is in the permanent collections of museums around the world from The Louvre to the Smithsonian to Museum of Fine Arts, Houston among many others. Of note, the first photographs of Barack Obama acquired by the Smithsonian National Museum of American History were his. Visit the gallery at 209 E. Main St., Carrboro.
