DURHAM -- Police are asking for information about an armed robbery that happened Saturday night on South Benjamine Street.
A woman was leaving a house around 7 p.m. when two men forced her back inside the house at gunpoint.
One man pointed a shotgun at several residents, including an elderly, handicapped woman.
The suspects slapped a second woman in the face and then dragged her.
The suspects took cash and jewelry and fled in a white, box-style SUV similar to a Jeep Cherokee.
The vehicle was driven by a third man and was last seen on Sater Street.
The suspect with the shotgun was described as a young, slender black man wearing a black skull cap with red and yellow stripes, a black sweater and blue jeans with a design on the back.

Thieves take TV, money, jewelry
DURHAM -- Burglars hit a home in the 1300 block of Marne Avenue on Thursday. The thieves made off with a watch, flat-screen television, bracelet and $400.
