DURHAM -- Investigators have charged a second suspect in a break-in to a storage shed at Duke Homestead, but he had not been arrested as of Tuesday. Police charged Javonnte L. Patterson, 16, of Wake Place, with breaking and entering.
Another suspect, James Foushee III, 16, of Thames Avenue, is also charged in the break-in but has not been arrested.
The storage shed at Duke Homestead on Duke Homestead Road was broken into and a golf cart stolen between Nov. 25 and Nov. 27. The damaged golf cart was found on Marne Avenue.

Thefts reported
DURHAM -- Thieves took a 42-inch and a 27-inch television from a home in the 2600 block of Wedgedale Avenue Saturday. They also made off with an Xbox video game console, jewelry and a safe with a total value of $4,450.
In other crime reported to police:
n Thieves took a computer, monitor and printer worth $583 from a home in the 300 block of Junction Road Christmas Day.
n A special needs tricycle was stolen from a home in the 600 block of Eastway Avenue Sunday. Its value was $1,800.
n An air conditioner worth $2,000 was stolen from a home in the 500 block of North Guthrie Avenue Sunday.
n Clothing, shoes and a Sony PlayStation 2 worth $4,100 were stolen from a home in the 400 block of Canal Street Sunday.
