UNC women return to Carmichael today

CHAPEL HILL -- No. 7 North Carolina will make its long-awaited return to renovated Carmichael Auditorium today when the Tar Heels host Kennesaw State at 2 p.m.

UNC, which defeated South Carolina, 93-85, before a nine-day holiday break, is back at Carmichael for the first time since closing the 2007-08 season with an 82-51 win over Duke.

Kennesaw State (4-6) is coming off an 80-67 loss at Georgia Southern on Dec. 21.
