-- Rebuilding Together of the Triangle, an area nonprofit focused on home rehabilitation for low-income home owners, has added three new members to its board of directors.

The new members are Vince DeFreitas, managing director of Silver Developers, Tiffany Elder, operations manager at Legacy Green, and Chris Simmering, owner of Take It Outside.

Elder will work on guiding resources to deliver the greatest impact for each project. DeFreitas and Simmering, an accredited U.S. Green Building Council green associate, will work with the group's project selection committee to evaluate the scope of work for projects.

In 2009, Rebuilding Together completed 16 projects at area homes.
