All contributions go directly to the people who need your help. The sponsors of Share Your Christmas -- The Durham County Department of Social Services, Volunteer Center of Durham, and The Herald-Sun -- donate the administrative costs of this program.

Case 661: This 41-year-old mother of three, ages 10 to 15, is asking for help this holiday season because she is working part time and her income does not cover all the bills and provide for all the things the children need. Clothes, laundry detergent and deodorant are all this family is requesting.

Case 662: This 21-year-old, single mother of two boys, ages 4 and 6, is unemployed and struggling to meet the needs of her family. The children are receiving mental health services to address their needs. Clothes and toys would warm their hearts this Christmas.

Case 663: This 61-year-old gentleman is mentally handicapped and very lovable. He gets so excited about Christmas and starts calling to give his wish list in the summer, then changes it according to who is winning the ball games. Besides walking at the mall, he enjoys watching baseball, football, basketball and old cowboy movies. He lives with his brother, and both struggle to make ends meet. No adult would be more excited to receive gifts than this delightful man!

Case 664: This 36-year-old mother of two boys on disability is only able to work part time. New clothes would make the holiday brighter for this family.

Case 665: This 39-year-old mother of three is struggling financially to support her kids. She would be very grateful for clothes and shoes.

Case 666: A 50-year-old mother and her 25-year-old son are both disabled. A toaster oven, bedroom shoes and underwear would warm them for the holidays.

Case 667: These young parents of a 5-year-old boy are homeless and have a very limited income. They are only able to find part-time work and would be very thankful for some clothes and toys for their son.

Case 668: Mom is involuntarily away from home, so this unemployed father is struggling to take care of his 12-year-old son. Any assistance would be appreciated this Christmas.

Case 669: This homeless, unemployed, expectant mother of five could really use some help this holiday season with providing a memorable day. The kids range in age from 1 to 15 and could use clothes, games and toys.

Case 670: This 46-year-old mom has been in and out of work trying to make ends meet. She has a disabled son in the home and another who is unemployed. They could use some clothes, and the kids would love a Play Station 3 game.

Case 671: This 51-year-old foster guardian of her niece and nephew needs help. Please help make this Christmas special by sponsoring them with clothes, toys, household items and toiletries.

Case 672: This 53-year-old grandmother is providing care for her three grandsons, ages 14 to 17, on a very limited income. Some new clothes would help bring a happy new year.

Case 673: This 67-year-old, retired, disabled grandfather is providing custodial care for his grandchildren, ages 1 to 19, this season. They subsist on very little. Please help with clothes, toys and books.

Case 674: This 37-year-old, unemployed mother of four is struggling to pay the bills and could really use some help for her family this Christmas. Can you sponsor them with household items, clothes, and maybe a bike for the 9-year-old boy?

Case 675: This 65-year-old grandmother maintains a household of eight on her disability income. The other occupants are students or unemployed. The 15-year-old granddaughter is pregnant. Please help with clothes and household items.

Case 676: This 40-year-old single mom of three boys, ages 6 to 13, would really appreciate some kitchen items and clothes for her kids.

Case 677: This 31-year-old single mother of four, ages 6 to 16, works part time when she can find work. She is finding it difficult to provide for herself and her children. Can you help with kitchen items, toys, clothes and games?

Case 678: This family of eight is homeless, and Mom is unemployed. She is attending job training to help secure employment and care for her children. Household supplies, clothes and games would go a long way toward making the season bright.

Case 679: This 18-year-old mother of two infants is homeless and struggling to find work. Can someone open their heart and sponsor this family with household goods and clothing?

Case 680: This single mother is unemployed and looking for work. Her three boys range in age from 12 to 17. Please help with clothing, games and household supplies.

Case 681: This 58-year-old grandmother has taken on the responsibility of caring for her three grandchildren on a very limited income. Any assistance that can be provided this Christmas would be greatly appreciated.

Case 682: This 55-year-old single, unemployed, disabled mother of three would really like her family to have a nice Christmas this year. Can you help?

Case 683: This 33-year-old single mother of four, ages 10 to 19, is struggling to care for her family. Bring a smile to all their faces this Christmas with household items, clothes and bath products.

Case 684: This single grandmother who is unemployed is providing care for her two grandchildren. They barely have what they need to survive. A sponsor who could give them kitchenware and clothes would be a true blessing.

Case 685: This 78-year-old, retired grandmother has taken on the responsibility of caring for her three grandchildren, ages 10 to 14, as well as for her daughter who is unemployed. Please sponsor this family so there will be something under the tree.

Case 686: This 20-year-old mother of two young children will not be able to buy them anything for Christmas. Please brighten their holiday with clothes and diapers for the baby.

Case 687: This single, unemployed mother is trying hard to find work and is having difficulty supporting her 2-year-old daughter. Can you bring them some holiday cheer with some kitchenware, clothes, games and toys?

Case 688: This 45-year-old mother of two is also caring for her two grandchildren. Kitchen supplies, clothes, learning games and diapers would make the holidays much less stressful.

Case 689: This 50-year-old grandmother is supporting her grandson, 3, and her daughter, 18. Mom has a history of mental illness and has limited resources and income. Can Santa bring them some clothes, toys and games?

Case 690: This 71-year-old man is blind and has numerous health problems. Please help him this Christmas with new PJs, a bathrobe and bedroom shoes for him and his wife.
