The partnership kicked off Nov. 21, when Digitalsmiths staffers packed bags of groceries at IFFS headquarters and personally delivered them to local families.
Digitalsmiths staff will also participate in an ongoing hunger relief effort through "Backpack Buddies," which the Food Shuttle also spearheads. The program provides backpacks filled with nutritious food for local schoolchildren who otherwise might not get enough to eat to take home with them over weekends and during holiday breaks.
"Giving back to the community is a core value for Digitalsmiths, and I am moved by our team's eagerness to help Inter-Faith Food Shuttle do such necessary work," said Ben Weinberger, CEO, Digitalsmiths. "We are honored to be a part of this initiative and look forward to doing our part this holiday season."
