Case 124: This young mother has taken in her younger sister and her two toddlers during their time of need. She is committed to her job but does not earn enough to provide her newly expanded family with a Christmas. She is struggling to maintain a home and keep up high spirits during this holiday season. She would be grateful for kindness and generosity from others in her time of need. Any nice and warm gifts will be deeply appreciated.

Case 220: Brighten this Christmas for two young boys and their mother struggling after their father passed away. The boys, 10 and 11 years old, would appreciate clothing, coats, a football and basketball and maybe even a keyboard with a microphone. Their mother works part time, and the limited income only covers immediate necessities. It would nice to pamper the mother, too.

Case 228: This 65-year-old grandmother is raising two small grandchildren even though she is disabled. With many serious medical problems, another surgery may have to take place in the near future. Her very young grand-daughters would like a nice outfit and anything related to the Dora the Explorer dolls. A pretty church dress would make this grandmother feel special.

Case 241: This loving single mother of four recently became unemployed and had to move herself and her children back home with her parents. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Without assistance ,this family would not have anything to open on Christmas morning. A nice queen-size comforter set, pots, pans, towels and a few personal items would bring joy to this mother along with the clothing and a few toys for her children.

Case 242: Please help this family during their difficult times brought on by the father's injuries incurred in an auto accident and the medical problems of the unemployed mother. The children need new warm coats, new pants and a nice surprise. The mother only requests pots, pans, towels and washcloths. Give their children a memorable experience this Christmas.

Case 243: Five young children can only wish for your kindness in providing much needed clothing. Their mother recently lost her job as caregiver for a patient who passed away. Her home went into foreclosure, so without assistance she will not be able to afford to provide a happy holiday. Items that would make them happy are a bike, a watch, games, toy trucks, coats, and shirts and pants.

Case 249: These wonderful grandparents are raising their five grandchildren on a limited income. The grandfather has serious medical issues, and two of the grandchildren have learning disabilities. A football and basketball, radio with DVD player and MP3 player would make this holiday a thankful one. Clothing is needed for everyone and the grandmother would like nice drinking glasses and a watch for her husband. Please grant their Christmas wishes this year.

Case 296: This single mother of five children, ages 3, 6, 7, 10 and 11, would be grateful for your caring with gifts of clothing, basketballs, toys, blankets and kitchen towels. She is in need of a warm-up suit, coat and pants. Your special assistance will bring happy faces this Christmas.

Case 254: This elderly man has several medical concerns and is on a limited income. He would like some help this holiday. Living alone and with no family in Durham, he enjoys listening to the radio and walking. A few items sure would help him out, like a converter box for his old TV, since he has not been able to watch TV without one; a new radio and a few other items are on his wish list.

Case 283: Being blind is a challenge for this 57-year-old woman and dialysis patient. She takes life head on with a smile and will appreciate all kindness shown this season. She is 57 years old and requests two pantsuits size 10-12 or medium. Your extra thoughts with a few surprise gifts would bring a joyous holiday.

Case 274: A caring single father has been unable to find employment this year. He is looking into school programs that will allow him to gain skills. For now he and his son, 6, are living in his mother's small home with other relatives. During this difficult transition he would be most appreciative of your caring gifts of clothing and a few toys. Bring smiles into their lives this Christmas.

Case 202: Jeans, shirts, a CD player, two bikes, some action figures and baby dolls are desired for this family to have a nice holiday. As this unemployed mother struggles, she wishes to make Christmas special this year. All this mother hopes for is that her children will be the beneficiaries of a special donor.

Case 201: Three children living with their mother in the home of relatives temporarily as they are homeless, would like the simplest of gifts. Some towels, bedding, toys and a coat for the infant daughter would be greatly welcomed. A turkey and other foods would be a real treat at Christmas time. Help ease their worries this holiday.
