EAGLES CLOSE AT HOME; DUKE, UNC HIT THE ROAD
From staff reports
DURHAM -- Duke is heading south and North Carolina is moving up -- on the map and also on the field.
Meanwhile, N.C. Central closes out its season by hosting Savannah State at O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium. The Eagles can match their 2008 record with a victory on Senior Day.
The Blue Devils will aim to change their path today, while the Tar Heels hope to continue down their current path.
Duke, having dropped two consecutive games, will be in south Florida today to take on No. 21 Miami (noon, ESPNU). The Blue Devils (5-5, 3-3 ACC) need to win to keep their bowl hopes alive.
North Carolina, having won three in a row to qualify for a bowl, is up north today to take on a Boston College team that is still in the race for the ACC's Atlantic Division crown (noon, ESPN2). With a victory, the Tar Heels (7-3, 3-3) could find themselves back in the Top 25 next week -- they missed out by a single point this week.
